Pictorial DJ which shows a seated Babar with flag cupped in the outstretched hand of the (appropriately green due to oxidized copper) Statue of Liberty, NYC; clipped; in mylar; has a small chip with closed tear at bottom near left side; one tiny chip in middle; edgewear on spine top and bottom; tiny chip on back bottom middle; small chip with closed tear on right near corner. Book is laminated and has decorative endpapers. Last title listed is Babar's Spanish Lessons. Signed on title page by Laurent de Brunhoff (1925--) son of Jean, who continued his father's Babar series; FLYER OF SIGNING EVENT INCLUDED. This is Original 1965 Book, not Reissued 2008 version.
