Octavo. The author's second published and now-classic vampire novel (after "Carrie"). Filmed in 1979 for television, directed by Tobe Hooper and starring David Soul. Filmed again for TV in 2004, starring Rob Lowe and Donald Sutherland. ~SIGNED by King on the front flyleaf with a unique inscription: "For Ed - All best--and remember: they only come out at night! Stephen King. 8/22/80." Jacket is second state, with "Father Cody" in the summary text at the front flap, and a price of $7.95 to the top of same. Jacket is very sharp, with only a small, shallow crease to the crown. ~A collector's copy of King's second book, with a fabulous early inscription. A fine copy in a near fine dust jacket.
