Pictorial Cover. Etat : Good +. Blue cloth spine, pictorial paper covered boards, 4to, pp;128. 4 colour plates. Many bw text ills. Volume VII, undated but inscribed 1928. Covers clean and bright, sound. Spine a little rubbed at ends but clean and sound. Inscription on rear of frontis. Frontis holding tight but other plates in text all detached ( no edge damage ). Some light foxing but contents clean, sound. Some of the black and white illustrations have been hand coloured very neatly and in most cases they have been done very well and add a nice extra period and personal touch to the book. I can send photos if you want. Anyway a clean copy with loose plates. Heavyish book at c1050g when wrapped, exceeding the 1000g default weight level used for the postage quotation, and the shortfall from the actual postage at cost might be requested before confirmation of the order depending on location . Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Hardcover. Etat : Fair. Heavily faded, soiled and scuffed pictorial paper boards. Edges and corners are worn through to the board. Corners are bumped. Front board has a bit of a bow. Spine is faded, soiled and scuffed, rubbed at head and tail. Binding is holding together well. Gutter is cracked along its length at title page. Previous owner's inscription at front pastedown. Interior is age-toned and lightly soiled, though the text and images remain clean and clear. Page edges are soiled.

Black-blocked brown boards, with coloured print mounted on front board. Inscription, dated1922, on ffep. Overall in good condition. Copac list only five copies in the U.K. / Ireland.

Some coloured page decorations. In fawn paper-covered boards, with tipped in colour illustration on front pane, green titles on spine. Top edge gilt. 4to. Very slightly cocked. Boards a little worn and rubbed at edges. Two inked inscriptions on front free endpaper, dated 1915 and 1952 respectively. Endpapers a tad brown and spotted, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A gloriously illustrated tribute to the English countryside and art in nature.

Hardcover. Etat : Good. Etat de la jaquette : Good. The author's, Flora Klickmann, edited this collection of her writings and inscribed this volume on the front free end paper. The text pages are clean and bright, while the top edge has darkened and shows some light foxing, as do the end papers. The blue cloth boards with gilt lettering are bright and clean. The dust jacket for this volume is present but also exhibits some foxing and has a previous store's price tag affixed to the back cover. The dust wrapper also has some minor wear along the edges and folds. The dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover.

Light foxing to a very few only pages and mostly to the margins. Colour & b/w illustrations. Binding is VG albeit feels a touch loose. 702p Large & heavy book: 280 x 220 mm / nearly 1.5 kgs.
