More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil markings to front pastedown. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is bright and clear. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards.

Etat : Fine. Original autographed duotone photograph (3.5" x 2.75) signed by George Robey (1869-1954). Robey was an English comedian and early film star as well as stage actor. Known as "The Prime Minister of Mirth" in conjunction with his support of Britain's participation in WW I. All items carefully packed to avoid damage from moisture and rough handling.

Black and white illustrations throughout. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters and hinges but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
