Gender is one of the primary fault lines running through contemporary American politics. Pippa Norris is an Associate Director of the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics, and Public Policy at the JFK School of Government at Harvard University. Norris is a highly regarded authority on the impact of gender on poltiics and the press.
