These theories find applications in physics, particularly in determining the integrals of partial differential equations, summing series, and integrating linear differential equations. The author presents methods for solving problems in mathematical physics and demonstrates the importance of residue calculus in these methods. These methods contribute to the advancement of infinitesimal analysis and serve not only to integrate linear partial differential equations, but also to determine arbitrary functions introduced by integration, under given conditions, to develop arbitrary functions into series of exponentials whose exponents are proportional to the various roots of a transcendental equation, and to fix the limits within which these series are enclosed.
