Each chapter is prefaced by a highly readable introduction alerting the reader to the salient features of the topic under discussion. The commentary places the extracts in context, points to other cases for contrast and comparison, and contains, where appropriate, extracts from other relevant authorities. In the light of the increasing influence of EC legislation, particular emphasis is given to those areas which demonstrate this influence, e.g. breach of statutory duty and product liability.
