Synopsis

Now in a new edition with a new forword, this book examines the nature and importance of doctrine in Christianity. The author argues that doctrine can seem unconnected to everyday life, yet Christianity without doctrine is unthinkable; doctrine is the expression of Christian truth, a framework for dynamic Christian living and a safeguard against heresy.
