Together with Barry Posner, he is the coauthor of The Leadership Challenge and more than a dozen books in the Leadership Challenge franchise. Kouzes and Posner have conducted leadership development programs for hundreds of organizations, including Apple, Bank of America, Chevron, Deloitte & Touche, FedEx, Google, Johnson & Johnson, L. L. Bean, United Way, Disney, and many more. They have received the Association for Talent Development's Distinguished Contribution to Workplace Learning and Performance award; been named Management/Leadership Educators of the Year by the International Management Council; were ranked by Leadership Excellence magazine in the top twenty on its list of the Top 100 Thought Leaders; and listed among HR Magazine's Most Influential International Thinkers.
