Biographie de l'auteur :
Prior to publishing her first book, Denise Domning, mother of two and Scottsdale, Arizona, resident, owned two property management firms, invented an electrical lock and became CEO of her own corporation. "An obvious segue into a writing career," she jokingly states. Hailed by critics as a "superstar in the making" and a "first class writer on her way to the top", there can be no doubt of her success in this, Denise's newest field of endeavor. Her first medieval novel, Winter's Heat, received the Romantic Times award for "Best First Historical Novel of 1994". Spring's Fury, Autumn's Flame, A Love for All Seasons were respectively nominated by Romantic Times for "Best Medieval Novel" of 1995, 1996 and 1997. This year Romantic Times has nominated Denise for their "Career Achievement in European Romance" award. Her first Elizabethan novel, Lady in Waiting, was recommended by Publisher's Weekly as "well-written, wellresearched, with an accurate portrayal of Elizabeth" and has been nominated by Romantic Times this year for "Best European Novel of 1998". Coming to your book stores in October, 1999, is Lady in White, a Renaissance ghost story.
Présentation de l'éditeur :
A LOVE THAT DEFIES THE POWERS OF THE TIMES... In a world where folk are either common or noble, Temric FitzHenry, bastard of Graistan, is neither and both. Then he meets the only woman who is his equal. His heart demands he steal her from her husband, the man who wants her dead. Philippa of Lindhurst knows her love for Temric is the deepest of sins. Although Temric has hidden them well, her husband will someday find them. And on that day they will pay the ultimate price for daring to love.
