After briefly reviewing the mathematical preliminaries inChapter 2, the theory of large deformations of a continuum isdeveloped in subsequent chapters. Special emphasis is placed onconstitutive relations. Theories developed in earlier chapters areillustrated through solutions of several nonlinear and linearproblems in latter chapters.
