Dr. Allan J. Rossman is a professor of Statistics at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. He earned his B.A. from Geneva College and both his M.S. and PhD. from Carnegie Mellon University in statistics. Dr. Rossman has been awarded a fellowship of the American Statistical Association in 2001, was President-Elect for the International Association for Statistical Education from 2005-2007, and served as the Program Chair for the Joint Statistical Meetings in 2007.
Professor Rossman is a member of the American Statistical Association (ASA), Mathematical Association of America (MAA), International Association for Statistics Education (IASE), National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), and the Statistics in the Liberal Arts Workshop (SLAW).
