Cary L. Cooper CBE is Pro Vice Chancellor for ExternalRelations and Distinguished Professor of Organizational Psychologyand Health at Lancaster University. He is Chair of The SunningdaleInstitute in the National School of Government, Chair of theAcademy of Social Sciences, President of the British Association ofCounselling and Psychotherapy, and Editor of the journal Stressand Health.

James Campbell Quick is John and Judy GoolsbyDistinguished Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington,and Visiting Professor at Lancaster University Management School.His numerous honours include the 2002 Harry and Miriam LevinsonAward from the APF/APA Division 13, and the Legion of Merit fromthe United States Air Force. James has over 100 publicationsavailable in ten languages.

Marc J. Schabracq teaches courses on work and healthpsychology at the University of Amsterdam and is an independentorganizational consultant in human aspects of production and changein both profit and non–profit organizations. He has produced morethan 20 scholarly and professional books on psychology, as well asmore than 100 articles and book chapters.
