Synopsis
Charles DiFrancesca war ein legendärer Börsenhändler für festverzinsliche Wertpapiere am CBOT. Als vielleicht bester Wertpapierhändler seiner Zeit machten seine Handelskampagne und sein Erfolg den Handel mit festverzinslichen Papieren zu dem, was er heute ist - eine weltberühmtes Geschäft. Sein tägliches Handelsvolumen war oft umfangreicher als das der internationalen Banken und multinationalen Unternehmen, die gegen ihn arbeiteten. Charlie, nach der Basketball-Legende mit dem Spitznamen "Sultan of Scalp" belegt, stand an der Spitze des Wertpapiergeschäfts, bis er viel zu früh an Krebs verstarb. Er hätte für "Market Wizards" und "New Market Wizards" interviewt werden sollen (er hätte dem allerdings nicht zugestimmt). Seine Bedeutung läßt sich mit der von George Soros (Staatspapiere) und Warren Buffett (Aktiengeschäft) vergleichen.
