Synopsis
Distributed Object Computing teaches readers the fundamentals of CORBA, the leading architecture for design of software used in parallel and distributed computing applications. ZAHIR TARI, PhD, is Associate Professor at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. He is also the author of Object-Oriented Data Modelling Themes and Semantics of Multimedia Systems. OMRAN BUKHRES, PhD, is Associate Professor at Purdue University School of Science, Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also the author of Object-Oriented Multidatabase Systems.
