Dr. Declan Hayes is a 53 year old Roman Catholic, Irish born professor of finance at Tokyo's Sophia University, Japan's leading Jesuit university. As well as being a master scuba diver and accomplished jungle trekker, he maintains a website at www.taigs.com dealing with this book's moral, religious and scientific issues.
