With a cut-to-the-chase writing style, Clay Crosse’s book appeals to men of all ages. And readers of his first book (I Surrender All with wife Renee) already know Clay’s been there and back—so he knows what he’s talking about. He knows that in spite of a strong faith, it’s easy to get distracted, to lose focus on the most important thing in life. Speaking straight to men, Clay pulls no punches: “We get distracted. We get hardheaded. We are prideful. We are overly competitive. Overworked. And we can be arrogant and self-centered. Then we also tend to get defeated. We get depressed. We freak out from time to time. And through it all, we are supposed to stay focused on God.” Dashboard Jesus is enjoyable to read and broken into sections easy for readers to digest. With a forward by Craig Gross, founder of XXXchurch.com, and callouts to emphasize important points, each chapter also has a recap at the end (appropriately called Don’t Forget). Written with both humor and compassion, Dashboard Jesus makes a thoughtful, inspirational gift for any man.
