Présentation de l'éditeur :
The Captive Bride is a collection of what may well be the shortest short stories ever written - more than a hundred stories spread over just two hundred pages. Exploring the realms of myth, mystery, dream, literature, history, the imagination, each tale invites the reader to look at the familiar from a new perspective; and then to look again as motifs recur from yet another new perspective, or intertwine, or even contradict each other. Tales from the Bible and the Greek myths, characters from literature and history, fictional characters, recounted in the minimum of words, yet packed with challenging and thought-provoking ideas that will leave you pondering for days.
