Baffico is the Founder of the Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation. He was the 2012 Red Cross Military Hero of the Year for Greater Chicagoland. He is a U.S. Park Service Volunteer Docent at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.. And he is the former President of the Sears Automotive Group and the CEO of Western Auto Supply Company. He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife Max Smith.
