She is also the author of the middle grade biography Charles and Emma, which was a National Book Award finalist and a Michael L. Printz Honor Book. Ms. Heiligman lives in New York City with her husband and two sons.
Bari Weissman has been illustrating children's books for nearly forty years. She was born and raised in the Bronx and received her master's degree in art education at Massachusetts College of Art. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts, with her husband.
