A biography of Richard Feynman, winner of a Nobel Prize for his discoveries concerning the behaviour of electrons, which shows that for him, physics  that was why he did it. He saw the world in a unique way, and have the extraordinary gift of being able to provide the vision in terms of formulae and to describe it in such a way that other people could share his understanding. And his work was always directly linked to the real world: once, watching a plate with a decoration on it spinning and wobbling, he noticed that the plate and the decoration wobbled at different speeds. He worked at the ratio and from that came the discoveries concerning the behaviour of electrons that won him the Noble prize.  From the dust jacket blurb.
