Howard A. Ozmon is professor emeritus in the Division of Educational Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. He received a bachelor of arts in philosophy from the University of Virginia and a doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Ozmon has taught in elementary and secondary schools, as well as at several colleges and universities. He has published numerous books and articles dealing with philosophy and education.
Samuel M. Craver is a professor in the Division of Educational Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has taught at the secondary and university levels. He is the author of numerous papers on historical and philosophical issues in education and currently teaches courses on the history of education, the philosophy of education, and professional ethics in education.
