About the Author :

Newspaper publisher Sheldon Brown saw several illustrations from local artist George Robertson. He contacted his friend and award-winning writer Sheli Ellsworth and said, "You've got to see these pictures. They belong in a book." It wasn't long before the three met and decided to write a children's story based on the artwork. All three live in Ventura County and Brown still publishes the local paper, The Ventura Breeze; Ellsworth is marketing her latest book, Confessions of a Pet Au Pair and Robertson is still drawing, but just for fun.
