Delbert L. Hall, PhD is a professor of Theatre and Dance at East Tennessee State University. He is an ETCP certified Theatre Rigger and ETCP recognized Trainer. He has rigged flying/aerial effects for hundreds of stage and aerial/circus productions. He is the author of Rigging Math Made Simple and the coauthor of The Rigging Math Made Simple Workbook with Brian Sickels; and he is the creator of the rigging apps RigCalc and PocketRigger. Delbert regularly teaches workshops on rigging math and aerial rigging for universities, IA locals, rigging companies and professional organizations. He also conducts rigging inspections for theatres and theme parks. Brian Sickels is an entertainment rigger, technical director and production manager. An ETCP certified Theatre and Arena Rigger, he works with IATSE Local #8 in Philadelphia, IATSE Local 77 in Atlantic City and PSAV. An ETCP recognized trainer, he teaches classes in rigging and rigging math. He is co-author of The Rigging Math Made Simple Workbook with Delbert Hall.
