Sent away to her grandparents in Spic-and-Span Town to avoid catching a virulent virus that turned people blue, Pearl has only the help of her little friends Tumbletash, Professor Kaspar and Ping and Pong to ensure she completes the tasks set her by the good witch, Zazuela. Jealous of their power, Izzi Berton has stolen all the magic from every witch and wizard attending an International Conference Izzi had hoodwinked them into attending, but he could not prevent two magic buttons falling from Witch Fortebello's broomstick as he made good his escape. Zazuela wants her magic buttons back for only they can stop the virus and restore the proper order of things. And only Pearl and her little comrades can find Izzi Berton and right his terrible wrongs.
