Afficher les exemplaires de cette édition ISBNIt is widely accepted that the Lake District has the most beautiful scenery in England, and it is a magnet for the landscape photographer. Drawing on years of experience, Peter Freeman offers a guide to mastering the terrain and the weather to build a meaningful photographic portfolio.
Landscape photography is all about capturing the light, and while this guide is aimed at improving techniques, it is mostly about knowing where and when to go and what to do to achieve great results. Covering climate, geography and geology, Peter describes how to carefully plan your visit to capture that special, once-in-a-liftetime shot.
PETER FREEMAN started rock climbing over 50 years ago, and his interest and enthusiasm for landscape photography started at about the same time. Both passions have taken him and his camera to some of the finest landscapes in Britain and abroad, but he always comes back to the Lakes, which featured strongly in his highly-acclaimed book Shadows of a Changing Land, published in 2008. He lives on the edge of the Lakes near Kirkby Lonsdale.
