Richard Curtis is one of the most successful comedy writers in Britain with television credits that include Blackadder, Not the Nine O'Clock News, Mr Bean and The Vicar of Dibley. His films credits are The Tall Guy, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Love Actually which he both wrote and directed. He was also the co-screenwriter of Bean and both the Bridget Jones films. His most recent work was a film for television, The Girl in the Café. He was an original member of the Make Poverty History campaign, and is the co-founder and vice-chair of British Comic Relief.
