As president of the Tiger Woods Foundation, he is an internationally sought-after motivational speaker who appears regularly before major corporations, government groups, and charities. A former teacher, he served two tours of duty as a Green Beret in Vietnam, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. As a college athlete, he was the first African-American baseball player in the Big Eight (now the Big Twelve) Conference. He lives in Cypress, California.
