Synopsis
The Black Report is a multifaceted statistical examination of contemporary Black America. The Report grew out of the mounting concerns about the present character of African-American life and anxiety over seriously deteriorating possibilities for the future, all of which demands a more critical, objective assessment of status and directions. Billy Tidwell is founder, President, and CEO of DataDeeds, Inc., and has practiced and directed social policy research for more than 25 years, with a particular emphasis on the conditions and needs of African Americans. He has published numerous research monographs on the socioeconomic conditions of African Americans.
