It includes his first published work, on the Pacific Blockade, hitherto unpublished papers on the jurisprudence of international law and on the environment, substantial works on state responsibility, on the sources and evidence of international law, on nationality and much more. And it includes introductory papers on his great British Digest of International Law and on the 235 volumes of the Consolidated Treaty Series. There are also papers on legal education in the two Cambridges. His tragically early death at 65 was an incalculable loss to legal science. The present collection clearly indicates this.

Biographie de l'auteur :

Qualified as a barrister, Anthony Parry was for some years a Foreign Office legal adviser before periods in Brussels with the European Commission and representing the aerospace industry. Returned to the public service in London, he advises on European and international law. He is the co-author of Parry & Hardy's EEC Law and editor of Parry, Grant and Watts, Encyclopedic Dictionary of International Law (1st Edition).
