She began her weekly column for the Jewish Journal on Tuesday morning. It is a great blessing that she did not suffer for a protracted period of time. As her oncologist, Dr. Ronald Natale noted, "She is an inspirational woman." She fought for, cherished, savored each breath, each day, each taste, each experience, each friendship, each argument, each moment. Eight rabbis visited her bedside within 24 hours.
