Man with X-ray eyes reveals "Secrets Of Life"

New book offers unique insight into the workings of the soul by the most powerful intuitive of our time.

Celebrated Canadian intuitive, Douglas James Cottrell ("the man with the X-ray eyes"), whose remarkable abilities have been featured in The National Examiner as well as on innumerable national radio and television programs (and who has been called "one of the most accurate intuitives I have ever met" by the publisher of one of America's largest new-age magazines), now reveals the intricate inner workings of the unseen spiritual world in his new book, Secrets of Life.

Secrets of Life was written in a way that no other book has been written before. Cottrell put himself into an altered state of consciousness called Deep Trance Meditation (DTM). While in this state, Cottrell has the unique ability to access a heavenly realm known as the Akashic Records or the Book of Life. While in this state, his son, Douglas M Cottrell, posed questions such as "Is there a heaven?" "What is God?" and "What is the purpose of life?" The result is a book explaining all the secrets of the universe - information that has never been confirmed in this way before.

In fact, the information so amazed Cottrell himself that he said some of it was a secret even to him. Secrets of Life explains in plain language everything you ever wanted to know about God, the soul and the spiritual world that surrounds us. These are the elusive questions that sages and religious leaders have been grappling with for ages.

Never before has any author been able to so clearly articulate these "Secrets of Life" (and how they affect each of us in our everyday, modern lives) in such a matter-of-fact and easy-to-understand way. Cottrell pledges to each and every reader that the information contained in Secrets of Lifewill "change the very fabric of their lives." Regardless of your religious faith or spiritual beliefs, this is truly a book for everyone.

"For those of us on a quest to better understand where we have been - and even more importanty, where we are heading - this modest and unprepossessing volume may ultimately prove itself to be the `barber's barber' of its subject niche. Years, even decades, from now, Secrets of Life may well turn out to be the `gold standard' by which all other works of its kind will be judged. The least you can expect from this work is that it will change your life. The most you can expect is that it will totally transform it." - Robert Appel, BA, BCL, LLB bestselling author of The Rebound Exercise System.

About the Author :

While working as a pressman for The Toronto Star in July 1968, young Douglas and his wife Karen became parents - and their lives were forever changed. The arrival of daughter, Cheri-Anne, was little short of traumatic. Delivered weeks overdue, Cheri-Anne collapsed shortly after being born. She was in and out of hospitals for much of her young life. By age two, Cheri-Anne was diagnosed as severely mentally and physically retarded. Giving in to the medical opinion that she had only a few months to live, Douglas and Karen reluctantly acquiesced and Cheri-Anne was placed into an institution.

Douglas and Karen refused to give up hope, however, and they continued to pray that Cheri-Anne’s life could be saved. In 1975, their prayers were answered in the form of a "medical intuitive" whom fate brought into their lives. Douglas and Karen put aside their skepticism, doubts, and fears about intuitives and sought the advice of this "sleeping prophet." For the first time in seven years, someone was able to intelligently articulate how Cheri-Anne came to develop in the way that she did, and moreover, what steps could be taken in order to bring her back to health. From that chance encounter, Douglas determined to invest all his time into metaphysical research and the nurturing of his own intuitive ability to save the lives of other children - even if it meant sacrificing everything he and his wife had built together.

Almost overnight Douglas had been put onto a path which would dramatically change his life, the life of his family and the lives of thousands of individuals around the world. In his 30 years as a metaphysical researcher, intuitive counselor, teacher and lecturer, Douglas has been tested time and again by the general public, business executives, journalists, medical doctors and scientific researchers. His ability is genuine.

Using his unique ability to bypass his conscious mind and access the infinite unconscious (what Douglas calls "the contemplative mind") Douglas is able to peel back the layers that separate us from truth, and expose it to any and all who seek it. Douglas continues to counsel people on any problems they have in life - physical, mental, emotional, financial, spiritual. As his clients have discovered, the answers to all of life’s questions and problems are spiritual and mental in nature. In Secrets Of Life, Douglas’s first book, he reveals the secrets of the hidden spiritual world - a world which is the foundation for everything that happens in our regular everyday, physical lives.

Douglas lives in London, Ontario, Canada with his wife, Karen. They have four adult children.
