Max Gerald Garoutte, M.D., is a board-certified internist and cardiologist currently practicing in San Antonio, Texas. He has enjoyed a long and prosperous career in service of his patients since 1986. He has practiced in the areas of general internal medicine, general cardiology, non-invasive/invasive/interventional cardiology. His special interests are prevention and wellness. Dr. Garoutte was born in central Missouri. He discovered at an early age that he had a passion for medicine. After graduating from high school at the age of 16, he spent the next eight years achieving his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia. After completing his residency and fellowship, he moved to his adopted home state of Texas where he has been practicing for the three decades. Max Gerald, “Doctor Max,” has been the author of three books, Maximum Destiny, Maximum Destiny Workbook and Saving Medicine. He is currently working on his first novel to be published soon.
