Richard A. Knaak is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of The Legend of Huma, World of Warcraft: Dawn of the Aspects, and nearly fifty other novels and numerous short stories, including works in such series as Warcraft, Diablo, Dragonlance, Age of Conan, and his own Dragonrealm saga. He has scripted a number of Warcraft manga with Tokyopop, such as the top-selling Sunwell trilogy, and has also written background material for games. His works have been published worldwide in many languages. In addition to Dragon Mound, his most recent releases include The Gryphon Mage for his Legends of the Dragonrealm series. He is presently at work on several other projects, among them Black City Saint – the first in a new setting --- a new Pathfinder novel, and The Horned Blade, the final volume in his Dragonrealm trilogy, The Turning War. Uncertain as to whether their foe was dead, the wizard sent forth the knight Evan Wytherling on a quest to seek the truth about Novaris, no matter how long it took. Still alive despite the great passage of time and the dark forces he has confronted during his fruitless search, Evan returns to the scene of the climactic battle and discovers that the truth may have been under his nose all this time.
