Penn’s other books, Hunter and the FastCar Trophy Race, and Clayton Makes New Friends (available from Racing to Joy Press in 2012), are written to inspire young boys as they grow from emerging readers to fluent readers. Penn’s characters are modern and humorous, facing and solving real life kid problems. All of Penn's books come with an Early Reader Medallion Rating. The ratings for each book are marked on the back cover. This book is an Early Reader Concept Book and is written to help young children understand conceptual and abstract ideas such as time and space.
