A degreed anthropologist, wilderness enthusiast, and photographer who makes his home in Arizona, Jeffery Scott Sims is a writer of fantastic and weird fiction. He is the creator of popular characters such as Professor Vorchek, the investigator of strange mysteries; Jacob Bleek, the questing medieval wizard; and the combative and colorful heroes of ancient Dyrezan. His publications include the recent dark fantasy novel, The Journey of Jacob Bleek; the harrowing thriller All Expenses Paid; and many dozen short stories of the bizarre and the macabre. A number of these tales are set in the exotic and mysterious wilds of Arizona, or in imaginary lands at the ends of the earth. The author maintains a literary web site, The Weird Writings of Jeffery Scott Sims, which in addition to providing useful information on his works also offers an ever growing collection of entertaining essays devoted to unique or unusual topics related to the weird tale.
