If you are interested in introspection, if you have tried to practice kriya yoga, if you do meditation, then you have nothing to lose by going through the diagrams in this book. What do you do when you meditate? Do you have a procedure? Is your head all a mush, a void, with nothing in it? What happens to your thinking apparatus when you meditate? What is the status of your vision energy? If you do not know what takes place in your head, if it is all vague, if it is not something that you can describe, then look into someone else's mind. Look at these diagrams.
About the Author :
My current body was born in 1974. I grew up an adoptee in a rural Illinois Catholic family. I started singing and playing guitar as a child. Yoga teaching began in 1999 just before I took a formal training at the Sivananda Ashram in 2000. This is where I learned of the yogic gurukala system as well as the sacred discipline of Kirtan chanting. In 2013 I met my guru and received certification as an advanced Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher. My training continues under his guidance. I currently teach Yoga in groups, 4 classes a week. I accept individual female students interested in advanced techniques aimed at mystic insight into the nature of Kundalini. Scriptural inspiration comes from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita. Students are directed toward gaining insight and understanding of the subtle body through specialized exercises, breathing practices, in-self focus and meditation. As yogic progression unfolds, students discover the Core-Self, encountering the potency of individual spiritual radiance. I am a member of the music trio: Devi das.
