Présentation de l'éditeur :
An elegant timeless tale written in rhyming prose about three delightful dogs who live amongst the idyllic beach huts and white sand dunes in Falsterbo, Southern Sweden. This non-fiction story introduces the three dogs and their unique characters, Buster, Nalle and Teddy and begins the first of a series of 5 books which explores a simplicity of life against the wonderful back drop of sublime nature and wildlife providing great adventure. Uniquely styled as a coffee table book for children this first edition is a beautiful de-bossed hard back fabric covered high quality matt board book with sprayed edges. The Hounds of Falsterbo has been designed to appeal as much to the children who marvel over the enchanting images and poetic text as the adults who share the tale along side the child. The illustrations are enchanting combining sketch, watercolor and oil pastel collages to create a lovingly realistic interpretation of the landscape whilst establishing a dynamic element to the images. The language is well considered with lively and well constructed rhyming prose, perfect to read aloud with some slightly more complex and changeling vocabulary in places. Children and dogs lovers, poetry lovers and beach combers will all enjoy this first jaunt with The Hounds of Falsterbo.
