Andy Seed worked for many years as a primary school teacher in the Yorkshire Dales before turning to writing full time in 2000. He has written a huge variety of fiction and non-fiction books, children's poetry, radio comedy sketches, comic greeting cards, government agencies involved in education, and web-based learning games. Andy's most successful book for children is a brilliantly random collection of irresistible info and wacky lists called How To Spot A Hadrosaur In A Bus Queue published in 2004 by Hodders Children's Books. Other successful titles include Razzle Dazzle, Chocolate Wars and a series of children's educational books called You Can Do It! Andy now splits his time between writing and travelling around schools running workshops and enthusing children about books and reading. Andy is married with three children and lives in the wilds of North Yorkshire where he finds inspiration while battling against the overgrowth of his vast, rambling garden.
