Présentation de l'éditeur :
Two Quid Kid is a tale of a young boy’s journey from humble beginnings of neglect and loneliness to finding his way in a hostile world.
Edward is a character whose struggles and triumphs will linger long after you close the book.
“I so enjoyed this warm, albeit at times heart-wrenchingly sad account of a boy growing up without a family in 1960s Melbourne. Eddie O’Loughlin’s story is vivid social history for people wanting a glimpse into the not-so-distant past.”
Maureen McCarthy, Bestselling Author of Queen Kat, Carmel and St Jude Get a Life, The Convent and Stay with Me
“Sometimes funny, sometimes confronting and often moving, this swift-footed tale of family, loss, love and redemption is written with the vivid honesty of memoir.”
