Paige Lillard is CEO and principal of Beacon Consulting PBL aligning executive leaders to a shared strategy and guiding them through challenging business transformation. A seasoned business transformation leader and organizational excellence expert, she served as the vice president of global business transformation for Turner Broadcasting’s Global Technology and Operations division. Based on growing demand for her knowledge and time, she created an internal professional-service firm at Turner, leading a team of consultants to guide and support executive teams from businesses throughout the world, including CNN, Turner Sports, Turner Entertainment, and Turner Corporate, through the strategy-development process. In 2012, Paige was appointed by the US Secretary of Commerce for a three-year term as one of twelve judges for the Baldrige National Quality Award for Performance Excellence, Judges. In 2014 she was appointed lead judge by US Secretary of Commerce Pritzker. Through over eighteen years of work with the Baldrige Framework coupled with her global transformation projects with Turner, Paige has extensive knowledge of organizational design and systems to ensure sustainable success. Her experience spans all sectors including service, industry, health care, education, government, and not-for-profit organizations. Paige also teaches the Baldrige Framework at the university level to Executive MBA students. Paige received her bachelor of arts from Hofstra University, graduated from Kennesaw State University’s Executive MBA program, and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Paige was selected by Turner’s CEO to attend the highly esteemed Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT) Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. Additionally Paige was selected as a participant in Harvard University’s Women’s Leadership Forum on International Business Expansion and Change Management. Paige earned her certificate in mergers and acquisitions at Kennesaw State University in 2012. Paige continues to volunteer her time to the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award for Performance Excellence organization. At the writing of this book, she currently serves as one of nine judges for the Harry S. Hertz Leadership Award given annually at the “Quest for Excellence” conference in Washington, DC.
