In any case, the tale of theS teel Flea is a legend which distinftly belongs to the Armorers Guild and expresses the pride of Russian gunsmiths. It depi6ts a contest between our workmen andE nglish workmen, from which our artisans emerged the vi6tors, having utterly routed and humiliated theE nglishmen. Herein, also, is explained a certain secret cause of military disasters in the Crimea.
