This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. Arthur Rackham (1867 1939) was an English artist and a leading figure in the early 20th century's Golden Age of Illustration. He interpreted scenes from fairy tales, opera, and Shakespearean comedy with whimsical and romantic images that continue to enchant children and adults alike.
Sir Thomas Malory (1415 1471) is generally acknowledged as the author of "Le Morte d'Arthur" (The Death of Arthur). He compiled, edited, and adapted the work from French sources while imprisoned during the War of the Roses."
