Michael Rosen is a multi-award-winning poet, a popular radio broadcaster, distinguished critic and academic, and one of the most popular authors for children. He has written over 200 books in a career spanning over five decades, including the internationally bestselling We're Going on a Bear Hunt, illustrated by Helen Oxenbury. His poems, about family life, childhood and a good deal of silliness, have reached millions through his exuberant online readings. Michael was the Children’s Laureate from 2007 to 2009, and is now Professor of Children’s Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Helen Oxenbury is an English illustrator and author of over 100 books for young children, and has sold over 50 million copies. She is widely regarded as one of the world’s most eminent and critically-acclaimed illustrators. Helen’s books include the beloved We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, written by Michael Rosen; Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll; Farmer Duck, written by Martin Waddell; and her own classic board books for babies. Helen is a two-time winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal, received the Carnegie Medal for Illustration and won the BookTrust Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018, a joint win with her late husband and world-renowned illustrator John Burningham. She lives in London.
