Thetitle directly reflects how he found himself caught in between both sides ofone of society's biggest ills, and indirectly the women who changed him from anave romantic into the seasoned veteran he eventually becomes towards theopposite sex, because of their disingenuous ways. It is written entirely fromhis experiences as a streetwise kid to adulthood, and, although it is not atame portrayal of what his life was like, it is a highly entertainingpage-turner that would fascinate even the harshest cynic. About the Author :

Phil Gardellawas raised in East Meadow, New Yorka suburb on Long Island. A graduate of East Meadow High Schoolwhere he majored in English and this is his first novel. His other interestsinclude basketball, baseball, and boxing, where he won a medal in the GoldenGloves tournament sponsored by the New York Daily News. He is divorced with onedaughter, and presently lives on Long Island.
