Biographie de l'auteur :

Dierdre Luchsinger-Golberg was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin. She earned a BA in Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and immediately embarked upon a 27-year career, teaching a myriad of subjects including algebra, art, biology, English, Spanish and U.S. History. Teaching in both parochial and public schools, most of her years were spent working with eighth graders. The author was very active in her teachers' union, serving on the executive board, numerous bargaining teams and several terms as president. An accomplished tennis player, Dierdre became a certified official for the United States Tennis Association and earned a place on the officiating teams for NCAA national events, the World University Games and the U.S. Open.A lifelong animal lover and outdoor enthusiast, Dierdre, her husband and son live on a farm with their horses, goats, dogs and cats, many of whom are rescue cases. Mrs. Luchsinger-Golberg is a passionate student of natural horsemanship and is currently working toward the creation of an education center based upon the principles of natural horsemanship.

Présentation de l'éditeur :

A popular teacher is brutally murdered, the community is gripped by the compelling story, her family devastated. Jennifer's Justice follows the case from the shocking discovery, through the investigation, arrest and eventual trial. From the police investigation, forensic evidence, suicide attempts, the death of a key witness and the judicial system gone temporarily awry, this true story has more twists and turns than most murder-mystery novels. Through her own grief and personal challenges, we follow the author's journey as she attempts to support Jennifer's family which is an extension of her own. It is a deeply personal account of how such a tragedy affected those who loved and cared for the victim. It is also a search for a lesson to be learned and shared so something good can come from the horrible crime that was committed.Jennifer's Justice is a testament to strength in family support and togetherness in the face of grief and despair. It is also a confirmation of the life of a wonderful, life-loving human being who left the earth with much unfinished.
