Présentation de l'éditeur :
The failure of the U.S. Government; enabled by the financial crisis, media, national debt, reckless Federal spending and haughty politicians. In only a few short years, the masses begin desperately seeking stability and willfully vote to dissolve the U.S. Constitution creating the first-ever Social Enterprise Employee Stock Ownership Country (SEESOC). Quickly, the people find they have really just become corporate slaves, locked inside two Great Walls separating Mexico and Canada. Tagged with barcodes and endlessly watched by Security Services, the dystopian novel, 2034, illustrates just how George Orwell's prophecy could be unfolding. Despite The Corporation's control of all information and annihilation of memory and history, one man will risk his life for love and freedom. The novel, 2034 is a haunting tale of mass ignorance, "MediaThink" and materialism, all leading to an inevitable destiny: the loss of Freedom.
