Carlos Betancourt has written on financial matters for several financial journals and has been quoted by Business Week, the Associated Press, and the Wall Street Journal. He served thirteen years as a naval aviator in the US Navy and currently lives with his wife in New York City. Betancourt has two adult children, who both live abroad.
