Pollack is the bestselling author of the memoirs Alternadad and Stretch; the novels Never Mind the Pollacks, Jewball, and Downward Facing Death; and The Neal Pollack Anthology of American Literature, a cult classic of satirical fiction. In addition to his books, he's also a regular contributor to Wired, Vanity Fair, GQ, and many other publications. When he’s not writing or doing yoga, Neal is the front man for the rock and roll band The Neal Pollack Invasion and a ring announcer for the Texas Rollergirls.
