J. B. Flood, II is a self-employed real estate broker and developer who has written The Spay & Neuter Controversy as a plea for people to address this issue and how to help rescuers. His wife June has rescued over 400 dogs over the past decade. Mr. Flood’s first book – Saving Hundreds of Dogs: A rescuer shares advice, experience and success stories, describes a dog rescuer’s advice about the dog overpopulation problem, their dog rescue efforts and 20 previous success stories about special dogs who were saved. This second book is also suitable and recommended for young readers to learn about saving dogs. Includes 34 color photos. The Floods live outside Atlanta, Georgia and have dedicated much time and energy to rescuing dwarf miniature horses, which they have provided for use in equine therapy for senior citizens and disabled children. Mr. Flood has written about their horses in - Dwarf Miniature Horses: Rescuing tiny trotters & their contribution to the community. Intended for young readers, this book describes these unusually-small dwarf miniature horses, a stable custom-built for them and their contribution to the community. Includes 35 color photos. Mr. Flood has also written - Inverness: The Legacy of a Green Community about the development of the 1,650-acre green community of Inverness in Birmingham, Alabama. Includes 59 color photos & maps. The proceeds from all book sales will assist with their cost of saving dogs and horses.
